Draft Procurement Policy 2026

Council will review all submissions received during the exhibition period and consider any amendments before the final Policy is presented to Council for adoption.

The review ensures the Policy reflects current legislation, governance requirements and industry best practice, including procurement guidance released for NSW local government in 2026.

The Policy provides the governance framework for procurement activities. Operational procedures and legislative requirements will continue to guide how tenders and quotations are conducted.

Procurement is the process Council uses to purchase goods, services and works. It includes planning, sourcing, evaluating suppliers, awarding contracts and managing contract performance.
