NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TENDER 41 ALFRED STREET SOUTH, MILSONS POINT

IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 47A OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993

North Sydney Council gives notice of its intention to invite public Tenders in 2026 for the lease of a portion of the community land site located at 41 Alfred Street South, Milsons Point (Lot 1 DP 873687). The southern portion of the premises is currently vacant and comprises facilities for the operation of a restaurant.

Council proposes to offer a lease for a term of five (5) years with two further options of five (5) years each (5 + 5 + 5 years). The purpose of the tender is to secure a long-term operator for the restaurant and support a sustainable foundation of the site. As the proposed term, including options, exceeds five (5) years and is intended to be offered to a for-profit operator, Council is required under Section 55 of the Local Government Act 1993 to undertake a public tender process.

In accordance with Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, members of the public are invited to make written submissions regarding Council's proposal to proceed to Tender.
