North Sydney Council is giving public notice of its intention to grant a licence over a portion of community land known as the Brightmore Drainage Reserve in Cremorne.

The proposal is made under Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993 and relates to land identified as Lot 34 Section C DP 5107.

Community members are invited to review the proposal and provide feedback during the exhibition period.

The Proposal

Council proposes to grant a licence with the following details:

  • Licensee: Owner of 33A Benelong Road, Cremorne
  • Location: Part of Brightmore Drainage Reserve adjoining 33A Benelong Road
  • Purpose: Vehicular access to and from the property
  • Term: Five (5) years

  • Notice of intention to grant a licence over community land feedback

The proposed licence would allow the ongoing vehicular access across Council owned land to a private property.

The proposal is consistent with the adopted Plan of Management for the Brightmore Drainage Reserve.
